Braga is the third largest city in the country and the oldest city in Portugal, with a history of around 2100 years.
Despite its age, it is also one of the most dynamic cities in Portugal, being one of the youngest cities in Europe.
On this tour you will visit the Cathedral or Sé, the oldest cathedral in Portugal, consecrated in 1089. Other places of interest on this tour include the Porta Nova Arch, the Bishop’s Palace, the Santa Bárbara Garden, the Torre de Menagem, the São Marcos Church and Hospital and the Raio Palace.
The connection between Porto and Braga is by train, although you can also travel by private transport (extra charge) if you wish. If you choose the second option, the visit will include the Bom Jesus Sanctuary.
